2 Ingredient Beer Bread

It is so easy and always a hit at Barbecues, family get togethers and just spur of the moment cooking.

Ingredients:

2 and 1/4 Cups self rising flour
1 12 ounce can or bottle of beer
Cooking spray for a loaf pan

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • Mix flour and beer til just combined, Do Not Overmix. It will be loose and tacky.
  • Pour into prepared loaf pan.
  • Cook for approximately 50-60 minutes until it pulls away from sides and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Turn out onto wire rack. Crispy when it is first removed from oven, not so much the next day.
  • Darker beer adds more yeasty flavor than light beer, but both work well.
