Aunt Tracy’s Sour Cream Coffee Cake is the heart of every family breakfast. No visit from her is complete without that warm, cinnamon-swirled slice of nostalgia. It’s my go-to whenever I’m hosting, though I’ll admit—mine never quite turns out as perfectly as hers. Still, one bite brings back the best memories of cozy mornings, laughter around the table, and the unmistakable taste of home.

- 2 c Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla

- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Confectioner’s Sugar
Directions:
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add the beaten eggs and vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Sift dry ingredients together.
- Fold in alternatively dry ingredients and sour cream.
- In 10" greased and floured tube pan, spoon 1/2 the mixture.
- Cover with 1/2 of the topping and then remaining batter & topping.
- Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes.
- Sprinkle confectioner’s sugar on top after cool.
Tips:
- When baking a cake that needs to be removed from the pan, I cut a piece of parchment paper the size of the bottom of the pan and line the pan.
