No one knows which New England-based magazine the recipe came from, whether it be Yankee Magazine or Boston Magazine, or what year our family first made these, but Crabbies have become a staple appetizer at every gathering over the last multiple decades. The dish has not only become a staple in our household but a favorite as well. While jarred cheese spread and crab meat doesn’t sound like the most delicious combination, these savory, crispy triangles can be enjoyed by the handful!

Ingredients:
- 1 5-ounce jar of Kraft Old English Spread
- 1 Can of crab meat
- 2 Tbsp of mayonnaise
- 1/2 Tsp of garlic salt
- 1/2 Tsp of paprika
- 1.5 ounces of hot sauce
- Stick of butter, softened
- 8 English muffins, split
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the English muffins. Combine thoroughly into a spreadable texture.
- Scoop 2-3 tablespoons of your cheesy crab mixture onto each English muffin to form a layer that’s about 1cm thick.
- Depending on how big you’d like each Crabbie to be, cut your English muffins like a pizza into quarters or sixths.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Crabbies can either be cooked straight after preparation, but they also store well in the freezer if you’d like to make them in advance.
