I love peanut butter and I love buttermilk pie, so why not combine them. Two comfort foods brought together into a delicious treat.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 and 1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour (rounded tablespoons)
1 pinch salt
1 cup buttermilk
4 medium eggs, beaten
1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie crust
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Melt the butter and peanut butter together in the microwave. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, salt, and buttermilk.
- Add beaten eggs.
- Add the cooled peanut butter/butter mixture. Beat until smooth.
- Pour into the pie crust. Bake for 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
