First and foremost, we want to express our sincere concern for everyone who has been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Cotton Patch Cafe is proud to serve as a gathering place for family and communities, and it is our utmost priority to ensure that our guests and employees are healthy and safe every day.

Amid the growing concerns that COVID-19 has introduced into our lives, I wanted to highlight the longstanding, additional and proactive procedures we are taking to ensure that our cafes continue to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation and food safety.  For over 30 years you have trusted Cotton Patch to serve you the flavors you love with the very best hospitality that you can only find in Texas.  It is our promise to you to continue to go the extra mile, especially during a time of heightened concern.

We appreciate your understanding that, as a guest, your dining experience may look different as we navigate through this time together.

  • We place cleanliness and sanitation of our Cafes at the highest importance every day. We’ve provided our Cafes additional educational materials and support to ensure they have what they need to stay clean and safe. 
  • All Cafe employees are required to wash their hands at least every 20 minutes and for at least 20 seconds with soap and hot water.  We also require employees to wash their hands every time after visiting the restroom, after touching their face or hair, before eating, preparing or handling food.
  • We have provided hand sanitizer to all our Cafes to be available for both guests and employees.
  • All condiments have been removed from tables and are available upon request.
  • Menus are wiped with a sanitizing towel as they come back to the host and sent back into circulation, clean and sanitized for the next guest.
  • Employees will continue to wear gloves when prepping food and change gloves frequently or as needed.
  • We’re consistently emphasizing the importance of the health and well-being of our employees. If employees aren’t feeling well, they are strongly encouraged to stay home. If they arrive at work and are exhibiting symptoms, they are sent home immediately.
  • We will continue to follow updates and protocol suggested by the CDC, local Departments of Public Health, and World Health Organization to best ensure the safety of our guests and employees.
  • As this is a fluid situation, you may see certain Cafes adjusting hours or modifying hours of operation. There may even be moments where we temporarily choose to close a Cafe if we feel it’s in the interest of the safety of our community and employees.  

We also want to remind you that you can always order your scratch-made favorites for to-go pick-up and if you want to stay in the comfort of your home, we’ll bring your order straight to your doorstep with delivery from DoorDash and Favor.
